The swimming pool (50m²) is managed like a natural lake. Composed of a system of vegetal filters, it comprises a regeneration pond, filtration pond and cascades that oxygenate the water. Completely organic, it needs no chemicals.
The water is particularly soft, limpid and pleasant, and you will appreciate seeing the pool’s water gardens evolve from season to season.
More than two acres of fields and gardens surround the Mas de Saribou.
When you arrive, you first of all discover the country curate’s garden: six boxwood squares planted with old roses, peonies, dahlias, etc. A pond, a meadow, old fruit trees with bird nests complete this colorful bit of paradise.
Around the eco-cottage is a Mediterranean garden with trees, shrubs and perennials adapted to dry summer gardening. Pergolas covered with vines and roses lead to the water garden, cool and poetic in summer as in winter.
The whole property is protected by the LPO (Bird Protection League) as a wildlife reserve.
Neither pesticides nor artificial fertilizers are used here. Michel has been an organic farmer for decades.
Comfortable garden furnishings and hammocks invite you to breakfast outdoors, take siesta, afternoon tea or simply read under a tree.
